An American Haunting
So I saw An American Haunting last night. Overall, I give the movie a "B". It was a pretty faithful recreation of the legend, the acting was good, as were the special effects.
Unfortunately, it "went there" as I feared it might, presenting my least favorite theory of the Bell Witch (if you've read Monahan's book, you know what I mean). There's not evidence of this at all, making it a libelous accusation. In fairness, there is a disclaimer at the end stating that this is only one theory. But it would have been a better movie without this.
