Bell Witch on the Big Screen
An American Haunting, a movie based on the Bell Witch legend, is slated for release this Friday. Apparently, the movie is based on Brent Monahan's book, The Bell Witch: An American Haunting, of which I was not a huge fan due to some unfounded accusations he made toward John Bell. Hopefully, the movie will omit this.

If anyone is interested I have a new script that is being passed around Hollywood now about the Bell Witch that is a fictional story based on the accounts surrounding the Bell family. I am among one of the branches of the family that moved to Mississippi and I wrote the story based on tales told to me thru my childhood of what happened to the Family and some decendants of my family. I did not like the inclination that was suggested about our family either. It inspired me to research my background more and ask the hard questions of the few oldest family members who are still living. I made a fiction story of what if she came for me? As I am a decendant also. I include a few versions of the story and then tie them into what I really found out.
