Nashville Ghost Tour

Saturday I went on a ghost tour in Nashville. It was very interesting, covering some stories I knew about (like the State Capitol building and St. Mary's Catholic Church) and some I was not familar with (a haunted former club near Printers Alley and a haunted parking garage). Our tour guide did a wonderful job, and I heartily recommend taking this tour if you are in the Nashville area.

I don't want to go into too much detail because I don't want to ruin the tour for anyone. But I would like to share the following photos I took on the tour. Plenty of orbs! (Click on an image to view it full size)

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Are those your pictures? How cool! I watched so many haunted house shows on TV last weeekend...I'll have to check out the ghost tour next time I'm in Nashville - I've only been to NVille once or twice.

Liz,
Make sure you go on the original Nashville ghost tour. We made the mistake of going on a BAD copycat tour. The next day we went on the original tour and it was awesome. They wore period costumes and everything! I would highly recommend it, www.nashvilleghosttours.com

That's my two cents!

We went on the Haunted Ghost Tour of Nashville tour and it was by far the best ghost tour we have ever done. We do tours whenever we can and this one gave us more than we had hoped for. They promised great paranormal pictures and they weren't kidding. What we really appreciated that it wasn't a hokey tour at all with costumes or people trying to purposely scare you.

Maybe you went on another tour then. The tour I went on had costumes and there was nothing "hokey" about it. There was no one trying to scare you. The tour guide just simply told the stories better. As a matter of fact, the stories on the bad tour were shorter with less detail and the tour guide walked us to death. It just wasn't fun. The other tour was at a slower pace and much more entertaining. If you are ever back in town, I would totally try out the original tour. You will be pleasantly surprised.

My family and I go on the ghost tour in Nashville every year and it gets to be more fun every year. Each year some new tid bit or story is added to make the tour even better. I'm a history buff and I have checked into some of the story they tell and I can tell you first hand that they are completely historically accurate. I would warn you of one thing, though....I started to buy my tickets online and I ran into a problem. I couldn't remember the ghost tour website so I typed it in on a search engine and got to a website claiming to sell "Nashville Ghost Tour" tickets. Well, the tickets were so much higher than what we paid before (like nearly double) I decided to look further on the net and I found that those tickets were not for Nashville Ghost Tours - it was for some tour I haven't even heard of. When I found their website I called them and they said that someone other company was using their name falsing advertising for other tours. I guess what I am saying be wary...If you want to go on Nashville ghost tours only buy your tickets at www.nashvilleghosttours.com
