Knoxville Ghost Hunting
I, along with the usual gang, returned to Seven Islands Church last night. This was the first time we had been since February. Our experience this time was very much like our previous visit; nothing really notable, but lots of orbs in our photographs (click on a picture to see it full size):
After visiting Seven Islands, we headed to Old Gray Cemetery, one of Knoxville's oldest graveyards. I had been here several times before (including this time. Again, we did not see or experience much, but did get some orb infested photos:

John - I met you a few times at CR stuff at UT. Didn't realize you were a ghosthunter too! I've had many experiences with this stuff - most notably in Williamsburg, Va. but also a few times (amazingly) in the Fort. You should try some historic houses, not just graveyards. Would love to join you if you're up for it.

orbs? those are called lens flares. its the way the light hits the curve of your lense. wow...
You got to be careful when claiming you have orbs. Especially when you are outside. All the bugs and dew and humidity and dust and .... all could show up as orbs. That isn't mentioning possible lights through trees in the distance and whatnot. Not saying the place couldn't be haunted, but just saying that orbs are a tricky thing to diagnose.
i truly believe in all the seven islands the copper ridge road old gray i believe in all of it everything ive experienced some real scary things at quite a few of the places its so scary i never want to go back its addictive though something tells u to go back over and over and over
one place that nobody knows about is cahaba Ln where zoo man huskey killed all those prositutes thats the scariest places in the whole area. as soon as you step on the property you are over whelmed with the feeling of pure evil and it makes you not want to be there if you read deaths acre by dr bill bass and the body farm by patricia cornwell it will tell u more about the place look it up its worth it
i took a dump there once.
While you do have to be careful claiming to have orbs, not all so claimed orbs are lense flares.. So lets not get all panty jumbled over that one. Far as Old Gray, Copper Ridge or Seven Islands goes.. They are all very great places for a hunter to get a start, just remember to respect that it is a resting place for the once living.
lens flare at night? haha..probably still not "orbs" but...i didn't se the camera pointed at a light either....
Orbs give off their own light. I didn't see but possibly 2 orbs in the pictures. Still very interesting. I too have had experiences when living in Fort Sanders mainly on Laurel Avenue.
While Delving for ghost pics, i clicked for here, but i have to say, i don't put merit to Orbs...they are scientificly proven to exsist, and are not signs of hauntings or ghost. A spirit can draw the energy from an orb to manifest itself.
