Stone House Haunting

Reader Tonya writes concerning Alcoa's Old Stone House:

I grew up around this house. Before it became a private residence we held our haunted house there on Halloween. One Halloween a few of us were waiting for the man to come unlock the house and we heard someone already inside. Walking around making all kinds of noise. When the man arrived we told him what we heard. He assured us that it was impossible for anyone to be in there as he had the only key. Just as he was unlocking the door something slammed against it from inside. When he finally got it opened there was nothing there. We did have our haunted house that night but I never strayed from my friends. And I never went back.

I don't blame you!

Son you really into that ghost stuff. I'm running a small piece on that wampus cat next week! That is if I don't find something else. Mainly it's just to fill some space.

I have been there during the haunted house, and another time. I don't live far from there, and have heard wierd stories concerning that house. It was told to me that the man who originally built the house claimed that he would live until Christ returned, and that house was where Christ's return would take place. I have also heard that his wife is buried inside one of the walls.
